Cocolabs is committed to an ongoing process of compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016. With this new regulation, Cocolabs is strengthening its personal data protection policy so that our prospects’ data can be collected and used in a relevant manner: transparent, confidential and secure.

 

Our Privacy Policy describes how Cocolabs handles the personal data of visitors and users (hereinafter the “Users” ) when browsing our website www.cocolabs.io (hereinafter the “Site” ). The Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use of the Site.

 

Cocolabs pays constant attention to its Users’ data. We may modify, supplement or update the Privacy Policy from time to time. We invite you to regularly consult the latest version in force, available on our Site. If major modifications are made, we will inform you by email or by our services so that you can take note of these modifications before they come into force. If you continue to use our Services after we have published or sent you a notice of changes to the Privacy Policy, this means that you accept the updates.

 

What personal data is collected and for what purposes?

 

When you use our contact form and/or call us, we collect and process the personal data you provide when creating a contact form.

 

In particular, we will ask you to provide us with your e-mail address so that we can use this information to send you information and notification e-mails, as well as our newsletter.

 

We also collect your surname, first name, telephone number, country and IP address. We will also ask you to send us a mini-description of why you are contacting us, which may contain personal information depending on what you choose to send us.

 

When you send us your details, we may contact you by telephone or e-mail and ask you for information about your project, its sector of activity, its financing methods and estimated start date. This data is used for registration, consultation, use, completion, retrieval and transmission in order to develop ever more comprehensive support services.

 

Cocolabs uses Learning Analytics to analyze page views. We use this data for analysis and display purposes. This data is used for various purposes, including collecting your user experience and tracking your progress, setting up follow-up and statistics based on your motivation.

 

The data collected using Learning Analytics methods will also be used for analysis by Cocolabs’ sales and marketing department in order to offer you relevant and adapted user paths.

 

When you apply for a position via our contact form, we will ask you to send us some of your details, including: your current CV, a paragraph describing your motivation, authorization to work in France, the courses you wish to take, your level of study at the start of the course, the title of the last diploma you obtained, your status at the start of the course and your objectives for taking the course, the names of the companies you have worked for and any comments you may have. We will use this information to collect, record, consult, use and carry out our HR interviews.

 

As part of our satisfaction surveys, we may use a customer satisfaction measurement tool (Typeform). Through this tool, you will be asked to write an opinion about your experience of Cocolabs’ services.

 

Is your data shared with third parties?

 

Your personal data collected on our site is intended for Cocolabs’ own use and may be transmitted to subcontracting companies that Cocolabs may call upon in order to provide its services.

 

Under no circumstances will Cocolabs sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

 

We also work closely with third-party companies who may have access to your personal data, including :

 

  • When you expressly request it by contacting one of our contacts;
  • When we use search engine providers and analytics solutions to improve and optimize our site;
  • When we are legally obliged to do so or if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to (i) satisfy any claim against Cocolabs, (ii) comply with any legal request, (iii) perform any contract entered into with our members, such as the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, (iv) in the event of an emergency involving public health or the physical integrity of a person, (v) in connection with inquiries and investigations, or (vi) to protect the rights, property and safety of Cocolabs, its members and, more generally, any third party;

In addition, Cocolabs does not disclose your personal information to third parties unless (1) you (or your account administrator acting on your behalf) make the request or authorize the disclosure; (2) the disclosure is necessary to process transactions or provide services you have requested; (3) Cocolabs is compelled to do so by a governmental authority or regulatory body, in the case of a judicial requisition, subpoena or similar governmental or judicial requirement, or to establish or defend a legal claim; or (4) the third party is acting as an agent or subcontractor of Cocolabs in performing the services (for example, Cocolabs uses the services of a CRM company).

 

If Cocolabs or all or part of its assets are acquired by a third party, the data in our possession will, if necessary, be transferred to the new owner.

 

We may aggregate information about you that we receive or send to our business partners, including some or all of your personal data and information collected through cookies. This aggregated information will only be used for the purposes described above.

How long will Cocolabs users’ personal data be kept?

 

Personal data provided by Cocolabs users will be deleted after a certain period, depending on the data processed.

In order to provide Cocolabs users with the best possible experience, we only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with legal requirements. However, you can request that your data be made anonymous by sending us an e-mail.

 

Are you a minor?

 

As our aim is to make our services accessible to all, minors may access the Site to search for information.

 

Before accessing the Site, the consent of minors under the age of 16 must be given by the holder of parental authority.

 

Our site does not record, collect or store information relating to any person under the age of 13.
